Guy Ritchie’s mom calls divorce rumors ‘tosh’

Guy Ritchie’s mother, Lady Amber Leighton, is denying rumors of a potential split between the British film director and Madonna.

“I spoke to Guy this morning,” Leighton told The Daily Mail on Friday. ‘There’s no conversation about divorce because there is no divorce. They are not getting divorced; the speculation is TT — that’s total tosh.”

Meanwhile, a ringless Ritchie boarded a flight to New York on Monday, according to Us Weekly.

Madonna, who is currently in NYC, attended Sabbath services at the Kabbalah Centre on Friday and Saturday, also without a wedding ring.

Divorce rumors have flown recently for the couple.

Madonna has reportedly been meeting with lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who represented Sir Paul McCartney during his divorce from Heather Mills.

Ritchie is reportedly being represented by lesser-known Mayfair law firm, Forsters.

According to Us Weekly, Madonna ignored photographers’ questions on the subject over the weekend.

The pair’s busy schedules won’t leave them much time together in the months to come: Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” world tour kicks off in Europe in August and Ritchie’s latest film, “Rocknrolla,” is due in September, according to the Daily Mail.
