Project Manager (Redmond, WA)

Manage the execution of custom, original and cross media advertising packages for msnbc.com and TODAYshow.com.  This person will function as the project coordinator between multiple teams that are part of producing these custom packages.  Responsibilities include developing product roadmaps, defining requirements and managing the execution of programs through production across multiple teams.   All while, providing top-notch customer service to advertising clients and internal partners.  Once live, this person will track, provide reporting and success metrics to clients and internal partners to make sure the program delivers all components as agreed up by the advertiser. 

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

-          Project Management:  Coordinate complex product executions from start to finish across multiple stake holders using exceptional organizational skills, follow through and execution. 

-          Cross Organizational Management: Manage complex programs across multiple teams, companies and vendors.  Provide regular communication, conduct meetings and provide status reports on all projects.

-          Internal Relationship & Communication: Maintain a close working relationship with all project stakeholders including editorial staff, technology staff and account management teams.

-          Campaign Execution & Management: Ensure accurate and timely execution of sold campaigns on MSNBC. Track campaigns to ensure successful monthly delivery and proactively initiate make-goods when appropriate during the course of the campaign.

-          Customer Service: Provide top notch customer service and support to agencies and clients during the launch and execution phases of these campaigns. 

-          Sales Support & Communication: Maintain effective and regular communication with the sales channels and develop strong relationship with both sales group and clients.

-          RFP Response: Efficiently and accurately respond to the requests and needs of the sales group as it pertains to proposals, RFPs, deadlines, creative requirements and overall customer service. Efficiently and accurately respond to all sales inquiries within a 24 hour period.

-          Sales Marketing & Research: Industry research and sales positioning: Work with marketing and research groups within MSNBC.com and MSN to put together sales marketing research presentations for defined products; Aggregate data from internal and external sources for sales marketing.

Qualifications:

-          BA / BS in related field

-          4-7+ years in project/program management and/or account management in online media

-          Extremely strong skills in project/program management and sales packaging/pricing.

-          Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook along with the capacity to understand internal complex programs such as AdExpert and MSN Ad Reports and other web based media buying tools. 

-          Excellent organizational, relationship and time management skills.

-          Action oriented results driven, able to function cooperatively within a complex organizational structure.

-          Exceptional customer focus and confident communicator in phone, written and face-to-face settings.

-          Ability to identify new sales opportunities, define the products to meet the account’s needs, and execute media packages to meet their revenue goals. Able to represent MSNBC with integrity and trustworthiness.
