Winter Park, from $88 per room per night
About 90 minutes west of Denver, the Winter Park Ski Resort works with several area hotels to provide lodging and lift ticket packages. The least expensive package is valid at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge and includes two lift tickets (a $116 value) when you book a two-night stay. Rates start at $88 per room per night, or $176 for the required two-night stay.

Vail, from $109 per room per night
Pay two nights and get the third for $10 with the Blue Sky - Great Buy rate at Vail Cascade, in celebration of ski area Blue Sky Basin's 10th anniversary. Although this special rate doesn't include ski passes, you can easily purchase them at the hotel, which has a ski lift just outside the front door. A three-day ticket starts at $177 for adults. A three-night stay costs $228, with the third night being only $10.

Boulder, from $129 per room per night
Eldorado Mountain Resort works with several area hotels on lodging and lift ticket packages. The Boulder University Inn has the least expensive package, which includes accommodations, breakfast daily, lift tickets for each person in the reservation (a $62 value per person), a ski map, and hot afternoon beverages served in the lobby. Upgrades to other hotels start at $10; see all hotel options here. Eldorado offers downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and showshoeing; the resort gets about 300 inches of snow a year.

Keystone, from $154 per room per night
When you book two nights of accommodations at Keystone Resort, you get the third night free and a three-day ski pass for each person in your reservation, which normally costs $159 per person. Keystone is in the southwestern part of the state in Rio Grand National Forest; the 3,000 acre resort sprawls over three mountaintops. Rates start at $154 per room per night, or $308 for the required two-night stay (plus the third night is free).

Telluride, from $174 per room per night
At the Telluride Ski Resort, BT readers will get the fourth night free when staying three nights, as well as a $100 gift certificate to Allred's Restaurant, at the top of the city's gondola. The deal is good at a variety of properties, including one- and two-bedroom condos and lodges. Rates start at $174 per room per night, or $522 for the first three nights, with the fourth night free.
